Marketing has lost its heart and it's way; it's struggling to show value in the boardroom. Back in the day when budgets first got shifted from marketing to PPC, marketing had a choice: stand its ground and fight the good creative fight... or start trying to speak the same language of 'guaranteed results'.
Unfortunately for all of us it was blind to its own strengths and dropped the ball on creativity.
